Truck driver hurt when pickup tire comes flying in through windshield 

A truck driver was hurt after a pickup tried smashed through their windshield in Chicago on Friday afternoon. 

The incident happened on November 4th in Chicago, Illinois on Interstate 55 at around 3:30 p.m.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, A semi truck was heading southbound on I-55 between Summit and McCook when the rear driver’s side tire flew off of a northbound Chevy Tahoe. The tire flew across all lanes of travel and struck the semi truck, where it became wedged in the windshield. 

The trucker was taken to a hospital, but only sustained non life threatening injuries. It is unclear if the driver of the Tahoe was injured.
