The truck driver facing more than two dozen charges for a serious crash with a school bus has requested a reduced bond this week.
Victor Santos appeared in court on Monday, November 21st and requested a reduction of his current $77,500 bond, reported 13 WTHR News. This request comes after a postponement of his initial hearing last week due to a request for a spanish-interpreted hearing.
Santos is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a school bus full of high schoolers in Warsaw, Indiana on November 12th. Investigators believe at least one student was ejected from the bus. A total of 13 were injured.
Santos was reportedly far over the legal BAC limit at the time of the wreck.
