The Washington State Patrol (WSP) confirmed that a truck driver is dead following a single vehicle crash in Yakima early Tuesday morning.
WSP Trooper Chris Thorson said that a semi truck and trailer rolled off an overpass at SR 12 and 1st Street.

Thorson said that the driver is deceased and that no other vehicles were involved.
The identity of the truck driver has not been released.
The Yakima Police Department says that “N 1st St. from R St to the I-82 Interchange will be closed most of the day” due to the fatal crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
