Truck fire spreads to other vehicles in seriously expensive incident 


A semi truck caught fire and left hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage in its wake on Saturday evening. 

The incident happened on August 20th in Abilene, Texas at around 7:30 p.m.

According to Big Country Homepage, first responders arrived at the 500 block of West Overland Trail after receiving calls reporting a truck fire. When they arrived, they discovered multiple vehicles fully engulfed in flames. 

Firefighters called for additional help, and the crews were able to bring the inferno under control. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire, which caused an estimated $200,000 worth of damage. 

No further information has been released.
