A truck driver is dead after a tree fell onto their truck in Oregon on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred on December 27th on Highway 26 in Wasco County, Oregon.

According to Fox 12 Oregon, crews were called to a single vehicle crash on Highway 26 near mile post 64 just before 3:30 p.m. to find a truck driver dead in his truck on the side of the road.

Investigation revealed that weather had caused a large tree to fall onto the cab of the eastbound truck as it drove, causing the driver to lose control and leave the roadway.
