Trucker dies colliding with shed that fell off a pickup

A trucker is dead after colliding head-on with a storage shed that fell off a utility trailer pulled by a pickup. 

The incident occurred in Greenville County, South Carolina on Wednesday, March 30th at around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 418. 

WYFF 4 News reports that a pickup pulling a utility trailer was heading east on Highway 418 at Huff Creek Drive in Pelzer when the storage shed it was hauling struck the guardrail. The force of the impact pulled the shed off the trailer and sent it crashing into the westbound lanes. A tractor trailer heading westbound then collided head-on with the shed. 

The trucker, 74-year-old Berly Gibbs Zeigler, was killed in the wreck. The pickup truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
