Trucker facing five charges vehicular homicide for holiday weekend crash 

A truck driver is facing multiple vehicular homicide charges after a wreck in Ohio on Christmas Eve. 

The accident happened on December 24th in Shelby County, Ohio on Interstate 75. 

According to WHIO 7 News, 29-year-old truck driver Dayren Rocubert was heading north on  Interstate 75 when he went off the side of the road and crossed into the opposite lane. 

Rocubert then crashed into two vehicles, killing three at the scene. A fourth person later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Court records show that one of the victims was pregnant. 

Rocubert was booked into Shelby County Jail and is facing five charges of vehicular homicide. He was scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday morning.
