The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) recently nabbed an oversized load hauler for multiple violations.
On December 7, Georgia DPS shared a Facebook post calling out a trucking company for violations following a traffic stop that occurred the day before.
“Yesterday evening while on patrol MCO3 Thompson (Region E) observed a CMV with an oversized load traveling after the required shutdown time. Officer Thompson conducted an inspection and discovered that the company did not have a permit to travel on the road, oversized and overloaded,” Georgia DPS said.
Georgia DPS also shared a copy of the citation issued, which provides more detail on the weight overage.
