A truck driver managed to win a $10 million lottery prize for the second time in the last three years just last month.
Former truck driver, Juan Hernandez of Uniondale, New York won New York Lottery’s $10,000,000 Deluxe scratch-off game in February of 2022, just three years after $10 million from another lottery scratch-off ticket on the $350,000,000 Cash Spectacular game in 2019.
“I’m still trying to spend the $10 million I won in ‘19,″ Hernandez said to Syracuse News.
“Since your monetary donation I have been able to get a new truck and get back to work after months of struggling,” a Texas truck driver wrote on Hernandez’ Facebook page. “People like you are an inspiration to all.”
“I am so happy to share with the world my happiness of being so much richer today,” he wrote on social media. “I will be donating.”
Hernandez bought his most recent winning ticket at the Stop & Shop located at 150 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead. He says he’ll collect his winnings in one lump sum, totaling $6.51 million after withholdings.
