A truck driver won the $1 million jackpot while stopping at a gas station for a snack in Virginia earlier this month.
Trucker Jose Granados stopped in at a Royal Farms convenience store in Spotsylvania County for gas and a snack when he decided to buy a lottery scratcher. Soon after purchasing, Granado scratched his ticket and realized he’d won big.
“Suddenly, I wasn’t hungry anymore,” he said to ABC 8 News.
The odds of winning a Hit It Big! Scratcher game are one in 3.87, and Granados is the second of three potential winners.
