Trucker’s terrifying close call with a tornado caught on video by storm chasers

Storm chasers who were filming a tornado in Iowa captured a close call moment for a truck driver passing through the area.

The video was captured on Tuesday evening in Gilmore City, Iowa.

In the clip, you can see a tornado and a semi truck approaching the same part of the roadway. The truck driver opts to turn off onto a smaller residential road and drives away as the tornado approaches and tears apart a building.

The Des Moines Register reports that there were two confirmed tornadoes in Iowa on Tuesday evening, but no injuries were reported.
