Two people and two dogs were pulled from a wrecked tractor trailer in Alabama early on Thursday morning after severe weather moved through the area.
The incident happened on the morning of March 31st on Interstate 10 over Escambia Bay.
According to North Escambia News, the semi overturned onto its side during a storm with severe winds and tornado warnings and was left hanging partially off of the eastbound I-10 bridge over Escambia Bay.
The driver, a passenger, and two dogs had to be rescued from the wrecked cab. First responders were able to extricate the occupants by removing the windshield. The two people were then transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Officials report that there were high winds and a tornado warning at the time of the crash, but the presence of a tornado has not been confirmed.
