Indiana State Police (ISP) say that one person is in serious condition following a Friday morning crash involving two trucks.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Friday on I-65 near mile marker 243, about four miles south of Crown Point.
Troopers say that two semi trucks collided in the southbound lanes of I-65.
Two people were transported to the hospital. One is listed in serious but stable condition. The other is listed in good condition, according to ISP.
The crash ripped open the trailer of one of the trucks, causing the contents to spill out into the roadway.
Three lanes of southbound I-65 were blocked for the crash but they are expected to reopen around midmorning on Friday.
