VIDEO: Alert motorist just barely avoids head-on crash with big rig

A motorist is forced to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid a crash with a truck attempting to pass another truck in video captured on Highway 395 in California.

The video was shared on March 16, 2022, by Facebook user Michael Hunter, who writes:

“I’m thankful I was able to avoid it the Lord was watching over me forsure. I had to hit the shoulder aka the dirt cause I saw the trailer start to jack knife. I thought I was going to get hit by it either way so I was bracing for impact. I’m thankful for having the best tires #toyotires if they blew I would have flipped for sure also thankful for my training of EVOC (emergency vehicle operation course) from being a cop cause it was used in recovering from going off road at 70MPH. #hwy395.”
