VIDEO: Driver can barely keep it together before crashing into bridge support

A truck driver appears to barely keep control of his rig before finally crashing into a bridge in Illinois on Wednesday. 

The accident happened on September 7th at around 11 a.m. on Interstate 290 near Harlem Avenue, reported ABC 7 News.

In the video, the driver can be seen barely hugging the shoulder and narrowly avoiding collisions with several other vehicles before eventually crashing into a bridge support. The force of the impact causes the truck to overturn in the way of oncoming traffic. 

Following the wreck, the driver was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. Police have not disclosed whether or not they believe the incident was related to a medical emergency. No further information has been released.
