Kansas City Police shared new video of a truck falling prey to the Independence Avenue bridge.
The video was shared on Friday afternoon by Kansas City, Missouri, police. The bridge is clearly marked at 12 feet, 0 inches, but that doesn’t stop it from becoming a frequent target for bridge strikes.
“2-0 this month for the Independence Ave. Bridge. No injuries, but firefighters helped the driver get out this afternoon,” police said.

A similar bridge strike from the same location was shared by Kansas City police earlier this month.
The bridge is owned by the Kansas City Terminal Railway and was built more than 100 years ago. The company says that the bridge averages two strikes per month.
