A Texas mom took to TikTok to ask the trucking community to keep up the tradition of the airhorn salute.
On September 5, TikTok user kbrunnegraff shared a video captioned, “Truckers, please do better for our kids!”
In the video, a girl pumps her arm as her family’s car drives past several trucks.
The TikToker says that 23 truck drivers didn’t honk (they may not have seen the girl or may have been concerned about safety issues), but finally she gets the horn from two trucks at the end of the video.
