A storm chaser captured the moment that a tornado overturned a semi truck, causing it to crash into his car.
Multiple tornadoes ripped through central Texas on Monday evening, causing significant property damage and leaving 15,000 without power as of Tuesday morning.
In video captured by storm chaser Brandon Clement east of Round Rock, Texas, you can watch as a passing semi truck is overturned and then pushed by powerful winds until it crashes into Clement’s vehicle. Wind continued to push the semi truck into a grassy area near the roadway.
According to Live Storms Media, the driver of the semi truck was okay, but a passenger was injured and required hospitalization.
After the crash, the video also shows several Good Samaritans working to help the truck driver and passenger escape from the overturned big rig.
