Dash cam from an Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) vehicle captured a big time truck tire blowout that happened as the officer was initiating a traffic stop.
The dash cam clip was shared on November 29, 2022.
Iowa DOT MVE writes:
Ever seen a CMV tire explode? Here is your chance.
Our officer was stopping this truck because the tire was moving awkwardly at highway speeds and he wanted to find out why. Thankfully, due to the traffic stop and the driver slowing down for our officer, the tire did not blow at highway speeds.
