VIDEO: Wyoming Highway Patrol organizes convoy for trucker with terminal cancer

The Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) recently helped organized a drive-by convoy to honor the service of a truck driver suffering from cancer.

Wyoming Highway Patrol – Commercial Carrier shared the story of the convoy in a September 25 Facebook post.

WHP wrote:

After our annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Wyoming, the Wyoming Highway Patrol got word one of our local communities had a life long Truck Driver who has terminal cancer. Local Cheyenne Troopers quickly organized a convoy of 20 commercial vehicles and 4 patrol units to do a drive by to recognize him for his decades of service to our community as a driver. While he could not participate in the convoy himself, we were honored to bring the convoy to him! Thank you sir.

In video of the convoy shared by WHP, you can see that the driver is moved to tears by the act of kindness and respect.
