Watch crews remove (and destroy) the semi wedged between two bridges last week

Published:

Check out the removal of the semi truck that ended up wedged between two bridges after a single-rig accident last week.

The driver sustained only minor injuries, and the truck was the only vehicle on the road at the time of the crash, but that didn’t stop the wreck from leaving dramatic images of the upside down truck across the internet.

Around 9 hours after the crash, a portion of the rig detached and fell into the river, leaving the trailer wedged in the roadway. Crews utilized a crane to pull the trailer out from between the bridges, ripping it open in the process.

The driver’s identity has still not been released, and CBS News was unable to reach him for comment. The cause of the wreck has not been identified.
