Wisconsin troopers put the brakes on unusual vehicle combination

The Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) issued an out of service order to a driver towing both an SUV and a trailer behind his pickup.

On Wednesday, WSP issued a reminder to drivers that “without a permit and a few exceptions, only one vehicle can be towed behind another motor vehicle.”

The reminder was issued after a trooper spotted the pickup traveling on a Wisconsin interstate.

From WSP:

Last week, an inspector noticed this vehicle combination driving on I-41 in Outagamie County. The driver was stopped and informed this was unsafe for operation on the roadway. An inspection of the vehicle combination yielded other violations and was placed out of service.
