Wisconsin truck stop to close for 6 months, reopen as a Kwik Trip

The owners of a popular Wisconsin truck stop say that the location will close for several months and reopen as a part of a convenience store chain.

As of September 20, the Belmont Travel Center located off Exit 26 on US Highway 151 in Belmont, Wisconsin has closed.

The location will not offer parking, fuel, or scales during the six month renovation process.

The store will reportedly reopen rebranded as a Kwik Trip in 6 months.

The Belmont Travel Center offered about 120 truck parking spaces and the Mound View Family Restaurant.
