Woman arrested on 10th OWI after driving under semi

A motorist was arrested for her 10th Operating While Intoxicated charge after driving into a semi truck on a Wisconsin highway earlier this week. 

The accident happened on Tuesday, June 21st in Lake Delton, Wisconsin just after 5 p.m. 

According to ABC 27 News, police received reports of a crash involving a Toyota Corolla crashing into a semi truck and ending up partially beneath the trailer on Interstate 90/94, blocking traffic. The motorist in the Corolla fled the scene before police could arrive, but witnesses told officers that she had voiced concerns about previous warrants for her arrest before leaving. 

Troopers searched for the woman and found her a short while later. 58-year-old Laura Louise Parrish was arrested on tentative charges of  operating after revocation second offense (OWI related), and tenth-offense OWI. She was taken to Sauk County Jail on a parole violation hold and for the felony OWI.
