The accident happened on March 9th near Sulphur Springs, Texas at around 11 p.m.

According to KLTV News, 29-year-old Fadi Kathawa was driving east on Interstate 30 seven miles east of Sulphur Springs when, for unknown reasons, they veered off the interstate and struck a guardrail. The rig then rolled over across the eastbound lanes and was struck by another tractor trailer.

“The driver of Vehicle 1 (the Freightliner) was ejected and died at the scene,” the press release stated.

Multiple lanes of I-30 were shut down as crews cleared the wreckage, but have since been reopened.
