A wreck involving 16 cars and one tractor trailer left several people injured on a highway in Florida on Thursday night.
The pile-up crash happened on September 28th in Lake Wales, Florida on Highway 27 and Chalet Suzanne Road.
According to ABC Action News, the incident began when a northbound Chrysler 200 turned left in front of a moving northbound tractor trailer. The semi truck collided with the car, lost control, crossed the median, and slammed into a line of traffic stopped at a red light.
Police say that multiple people sustained injuries in the wreck, at least one of which was potentially life threatening. Multiple people were transported to the hospital, three of them by helicopter.
