A dozen tractors and trailers burn at bottling plant in Missouri

Published:

Firefighters in St. Charles, Missouri, responded to a large fire involving several commercial vehicles at a facility on Sunday afternoon.

Around 3:15 p.m. on March 26, the St. Charles Fire Department responded to a report of several commercial vehicles on fire at the Coca-Cola facility on Mueller Road.

When crews arrived on scene, they found 10 tractors and two trailers involved in the fire.

Firefighters were able to use several lines to contain and knock down the fire.

The trucks and trailers were parked on the perimeter of the parking lot, far enough away from the building that it did not catch fire. However, the burning vehicles did cause a small brush fire that was contained within half an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
