Active military and veterans eat free at TA truck stops on the Fourth of July

Published:

TravelCenters of America (TA) is offering current and former military members a free meal on the Fourth of July.

As a way to honor the contributions of the U.S. Military, TA says that all active military members and veterans are invited to enjoy a free meal at full-service and quick-service restaurants on July 4 with proof of service.

“Our hope in observing a well-rounded Independence Day this year is to honor active and retired military members by passing on great savings for a memorable holiday meal,” TA said.

The free meal is valid in restaurants at TA, Petro, and TA Express stores.

The free meal is valid up to $18 at full-service restaurants and $15 and quick-service restaurants.

Proof of service can include a U.S. Uniformed Services Retired ID card, current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans organization card (i.e. American Legion, VFW), photograph of yourself in uniform, wearing uniform, DD214 and citation of commendation.
