Arizona troopers seek red Volvo involved in fatal pedestrian strike


The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for public help in locating a truck involved in an early morning fatal accident involving a pedestrian.

Officials say that the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.

According to Arizona DPS, a pedestrian was fatally struck on southbound U.S. Route 93 at mile marker 120, in Wikieup, Arizona.

The vehicle authorities are seeking is a red Volvo, model year 2018 — 2022, with a missing right (passenger side) front headlamp and damage across the front end from the driver side to the passenger side.
