Big rig crossed median into oncoming traffic on I-65 in crash that killed semi driver, Indiana troopers say

Indiana State Police (ISP) have released information about a fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Clinton County on Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on April 19 on I-65 near mile marker 152.

ISP says that a 2016 Freightliner was southbound on I-65 when, for unknown reasons, it left the interstate, veered through the median, and went into northbound traffic on I-65.

The 2016 Freightliner struck a northbound 2022 Freightliner, causing both trucks to catch fire.

Troopers later determined that when the 2016 Freightliner went through the median, it broke a cable barrier, which struck a 2016 Mazda 6. The driver of that vehicle, Sean Samuels, 50, was not hurt.
