Body of truck driver found at Utah rest stop

The Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) is investigating the death of a semi truck driver found at a rest stop in Summit County last week.

The incident began on the morning of Thursday, May 18, at the Echo Welcome Center located along I-80 at mile marker 170, according to KPCW.

A Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) employee discovered the body of a 68 year old man at the rest stop location on the ground near the restrooms.

UHP troopers responded to the scene.

UHP says that there are no clear signs of foul play and that a medical emergency is the suspected cause of death.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
