The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) shared a new video to help prepare truck drivers for the challenge of mountain driving.
The video was released on August 1, 2023, and is part of CDOT’s “The Mountain Rules” series designed to educate truckers about safe mountain driving.
This video focuses on tips to help avoid brake failure and also includes a tutorial on how to use a runaway ramp in the event of brake malfunction.
