A truck driver’s dash cam was rolling along an Illinois interstate when he administered life-saving aid to a woman who was choking.
The video was captured on November 4, 2023, at I-55 and Rt. 53 in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Trucker Jeff Hanus, who drives for building construction materials company Ozinga, was pulling away from a job site when a car pulled in front of his truck.
The motorist exited and let Hanus know that she was choking.
Hanus, a U.S. Army veteran, administered the “Abdominal Thrust Maneuver” to clear the woman’s airway.
Hanus told ABC7 that there were two toddlers in the back of the woman’s car.
