Driver abandons semi trailer, leaving $75k of ice cream to melt

Published:

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a semi trailer full of ice cream left abandoned behind a building.

The trailer was reported abandoned on the dead end of Kenner Street in the West End of Cincinnati, Ohio at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20th.

According to Fox 19, the driver picked up the load of ice cream in Indianapolis, but never delivered it to its intended destination in Oklahoma. Instead, the trailer was found behind Union Terminal, where the Cincinnati Museum is located, with $75,000 worth of ice cream melted inside.

The Oklahoma trucking company that owns the trailer has responded to recover the trailer, but no information about the driver or the circumstances surrounding the incident has been released.
