Driver & passenger dead after truck barrels down embankment and bursts into flames

Two people are dead after a single truck crash caused a rig to burst into flames in Pennsylvania over the weekend. 

The accident occurred on January 15th at around 11:20 a.m. in Dauphin County, but police did not disclose how many people died or who they were until Tuesday, January 17th. 

According to Fox 43, the crash happened near City Park Drive between Exit 44B: 19th Street and Exit 46A: Interstate 283 South and closed all lanes. A spokesperson with PennDOT reported that the tractor trailer went off of I-83 north, struck concrete, skidded down an embankment, and then burst into flames. 

49-year-old truck driver Greg Stupar and the unnamed passenger were killed in the crash. No other information about what led to the crash has been released.
