Driver trapped after skidding down embankment

A truck driver was trapped after crashing down an embankment in upstate New York on Tuesday. 

The accident happened on July 18th in Rutland, New York on Odell Road, near Knapp Road at about 11:06 a.m.

According to Syracuse News, 70-year-old James A. Frizzell was driving south on Odell Road when he suddenly veered out of his lane, went off road, down an embankment, and overturned. The truck then struck a tree and a utility pole, trapping Frizzell inside. 

Frizzell had to be extricated from his 2005 Volvo and was airlifted to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.
