Four people are dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Virginia on Tuesday morning.
The chain reaction crash happened on May 30th in Montgomery County, Virginia at about 3:30 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 81.
The series of crashes started when a Chevy Equinox towing U-haul trailer lost control and spun. The car and trailer the came to a rest facing the wrong direction on northbound I-81. A Freightliner then struck the spun-out vehicle, which quickly prompted a secondary crash. Eventually, a total of two tractor trailers and four cars were involved in the series of wrecks.
