At least four people were hurt in a wreck in Brooklyn early on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23rd on the westbound side of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway near Tillary Avenue.
According to ABC7 New York, two westbound tractor trailers collided near Tillary Avenue, causing one rig to strike a highway sign and overturn. The overturn dumped a load of trash across the eastbound side of the roadway and struck several other vehicles.
Four people were hurt in the incident, but all were considered to be in stable condition. Their identities have not been released.
Cleanup of the incident took hours. The cause of the initial crash is still unclear.
