A crash involving four semi trucks and one car slowed traffic on a Washington highway on Monday morning.
The accident happened on September 25th in Cle Elum, Washington on Interstate 90.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the first semi truck jackknifed on I-90 near milepost 79, blocking the roadway. An SUV then smacked into the wrecked rig, and a second semi truck sideswiped the first in an attempted evasive maneuver. A third a fourth semi truck then crashed into the wreckage.
Only the motorist in the SUV was treated for minor injuries. The truck drivers were not hut in the incident.
Washington State Patrol says that the first truck driver was going too fast for conditions, which caused them to jackknife. The pile-up closed I-90 for around 20 minutes before one lane was reopened to traffic.
No further information has been released.
