CDLLife reader Michael shared a heart-stopping dash cam video featuring a close call with a wrong-way semi truck on a busy interstate.
Michael said that the video was captured on I-70 between Denver and Kansas.
In the video, you can see Michael traveling in the right lane of I-70 when he notices the wrong way truck headed his way in the left lane. Michael slows and moves over to the shoulder to give the wrong-way truck as much room as possible to avoid a possible crash.
“Had to stop after this one,” Michael said. “About 3 minutes down the road, the police were headed his way. There is another truck in in the video on the proper side of the road, shadowing the wrong way trucker. He had his flashers on and it was just enough of a clue for me to pay closer attention to trouble ahead. I am thankful for that guy. He was being mindful of my safety on the other side while mindful of his own. A true professional, that guy.”
