Investigation underway after truck driver found dead in cab at Utah gas station

Police are investigating after a semi truck driver was found dead in his vehicle at a Utah gas station over the weekend.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, the Nephi City Police Department responded to a report of a deceased male in a semi truck in the east parking area of the 7-Eleven gas station in Nephi.

The identity of the male was not released, but police said that he is from out of state.

“Due to the death being unattended, an investigation is being conducted with the assistance of the State Bureau of Investigations and the Utah State Crime Lab. The investigation is still ongoing. At this time, there appears to be no foul play and no threat towards the public,” police said.

Multiple agencies including the Nephi Police, Juab County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Juab EMT responded to the scene.
