One of the nation’s top trucking companies is celebrating their drivers by going the extra mile to make sure that this year’s Truck Driver Appreciation Week gifts are perfectly tailored for each driver.

For more than 100 years, Tampa, Florida-headquartered Quality Carriers, has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s leading providers of bulk tank trucking services.

Quality Carriers company leaders realize that the success of the company is dependent on the success of their drivers, so they’ve invested in creating and maintaining a company culture that helps drivers to feel respected, supported, and cared for every day — and even more so during Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Quality Carriers connected with CDLLife to share the exciting details on the thoughtful way they’ll be celebrating Truck Driver Appreciation Week this year.

Here’s what they had to say:

For Driver Appreciation Week 2023, Quality Carriers wanted to empower our Professional Drivers to choose a gift that best matches their needs and their lifestyle. We started by surveying every driver from our fleet, asking them to choose their favorite gifts from an extensive list of options, and encouraging them to give us gift recommendations. We took their responses and selected the top 18 options to be our final list.

We took that final list and partnered with our QC Store team to create a new custom website where drivers could select their favorite gift from the final list. After entering their information, their gift is shipped directly to their front door. By including our drivers in our gift selection process, we make sure they are empowered, heard, and recognized during Driver Appreciation Week.

“At QC, it’s all about the driver! This year, we sought driver feedback when curating our appreciation gifts. We are excited to offer our drivers a personalized experience that allows them to select their own appreciation gift. We value our drivers and wanted to create an event based on their feedback and recommendations,” said Aura Kerr, VP of Driver Services and Marketing.

Founded in 1913 with a single truck, Quality Carriers now operates North America’s
largest bulk tank trucking fleet. Find out more about how you can become part of the Quality Carriers team of professional drivers by clicking here.
