Kansas weigh station to close until September

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) says that a weigh station located in the southwest part of the state will shut down for several months to allow for construction.

KDOT announced that the Seward County weigh station will be closed from April 15, 2023, through mid-September.

This weigh station is located 5 miles east of Liberal.

The weigh station closure is part of a construction project to expand lanes on U.S. 54 in Seward County.
