A load of girl scout cookies burned up and caused delays in Kentucky on Thursday morning after a semi truck fire.
The incident happened on Thursday, January 26th at around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Ambrose Wright Road and Woodland Acres Drive in Pendleton, Kentucky.
According to ABC 9, the semi truck caught fire, shutting down the roadway for around three hours and destroying the load of girl scout cookies.
The cause of the fire is unclear. No one was injured in the incident. Nearby schools delayed starting for two hours due to the road closure.
Due to a tractor trailer accident impacting traffic on US 27 near Sharp Middle School Pendleton County Schools will be on a two hour delay for Thursday, January 26, 2023.
