Love’s Travel Stops has issued an alert to customers regarding a recent scam.
Love’s sent out letters to customers warning about a scam involving Electronic Funds Source codes.

As a valued partner, we wanted to reach out and let you know about a recent scam that has come to our attention so that you can avoid being caught off guard.
Scammers are seeing which trucks are being serviced at Love’s and while the driver is waiting, someone calls the carrier claiming to be from Love’s, and says the ShopConnect system is down. They then ask the carrier for their EFS code to pay for the service.
If scammers are using Love’s name and maintenance program to steal from carriers, they may also be doing it under the names of other maintenance shops as well.
Stay alert and always verify the number calling you is associated with Love’s or any other maintenance shop you are working with.
