Man accused of secretly filming people in truck stop bathrooms in Louisiana pleads guilty

Published:

This week, a Louisiana man pleaded guilty to a charges related to secretly recording people using the restroom at a truck stop last year.

According to a report in NOLA, Seth G. Breaux, 29, pleaded guilty on April 26 to one charge of video voyeurism and two charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Prosecutors dropped several of the original charges filed against Breaux as part of a plea deal.

Breaux was arrested in April 2022 after the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report about him filming a juvenile using the restroom at a truck stop on La. 70 in between Pierre Part and Belle Rose.

Police searched Breaux’s home and reportedly found additional videos of another juvenile and two men in the restroom at the same truck stop.

Breaux has also been accused of making similar videos of adults using the restroom at an outlet mall in Gonzales and a different truck stop in St. Gabriel. He was charged with criminal mischief in the St. Gabriel incident and pleaded no contest, but the case was later dropped.

Breaux is a former Assumption Parish Chamber of Commerce official.
