Man in critical condition after slamming into semi truck during illegal pass attempt

A motorist is in critical condition after colliding with a semi truck during an attempt to pass a line of cars in a no passing zone. 

The accident happened on Tuesday, August 22nd in Allegan County, Michigan at around 8:45 p.m. on Lincoln Road near 22nd Street in Otsego Township. 

According to M Live, a 64-year-old man was driving a Ford Focus south on Lincoln when he attempted to pass multiple vehicles in a no-passing zone. The pass attempt was unsuccessful and the sedan collided with an oncoming semi truck head-on. 

The motorist was transported to a hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported and no further information has been released.
