Police in Temple, Texas, are investigating a fatal accident involving a commercial vehicle that occurred on Thursday.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on March 30, according to the Temple Police Department (TPD).
Police responded to reports of a male running around vehicles near the 5200 block of I-35S.
“After attempting to open different vehicle doors, the victim climbed atop an 18-wheeler and fell to the ground,” TPD said.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident closed southbound I-35 for hours while police investigated.
