Monday morning jackknife causes chain-reaction crash in Michigan

A major accident involving a jackknifed semi truck and multiple other vehicles has left several injured on Monday morning. 

The accident happened on January 30th near Chelsea, Michigan at about 7 a.m. on Monday morning, January 30th. 

According to Fox 2 Detroit, police were called to the scene after a semi truck lost control on Interstate 94 and jackknifed. The jackknife caused several other vehicles to crash, including at least two more semi trucks and three passenger vehicles. 

The Michigan State police report that secondary crashes involved even more vehicles. 

Multiple injuries have been reported, including one critical injury. No further information has been released but anyone traveling through Washtenaw County is advised to seek an alternate route.
