Motorist’s stop for deer with no lights end in triple fatality collision with semi truck 

Three people are dead after a car stopped right in the path of a semi truck following a collision with a deer. 

The accident happened on May 23rd near Farr West, Utah at about 3 a.m.

According to 2KUTV, the car stopped on northbound Interstate 15 after hitting a deer. The car was pulled towards the right side of the roadway with its lights off when a semi truck came up the hill and collided with the car at full speed. 

Three people in the car were killed in the wreck and two were critically injured. The truck driver was unhurt. It is unclear if the collision with the deer disabled the car, and it is not known why the driver had the headlights off.
